Hi Roger

This could also be a listed building? If I remember you get a great view of Old Britannia at the top as the train stops at Aston Station!

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Roger

Would you Adam and Eve it! If this is 287 Lichfield Road my ancestor Linneus would have owned it, or been the licencee! (From Kelly's Directory 1880.)

I know that his father, also a Linneus, had the former Golden Cross in Short Heath Road which passed to his other son Jeremiah.

This Linneus, or his son, may have moved to the former Hare and Hounds in Marsh Hill later.

Now I know what has been my ruination!

All the Best Peter

Hi Roger

Old Linneus took over the Talford Arms in Phillips Street in 1884 for a few years. Sadly I think has long gone, not far from the Barton Arms

All the Best Pedro
