This building use to be the ministrie of education. It was set one fire during a heavy protest.

No, this is not the formal police headquarters. This building is part of a historical location of Suriname, called Fort Zeelandia. It is sutuated next to the administrative office of the President of Suriname. It was set on fire during the coup of february 25th, 1980.
