Markus, to my taste, this photo is failed! I don't really give the impression of being in the middle of the town of Vals-les-Bains. We see only a lot of trees and few houses. But it is a classical view of Vals. Besides in my home, I have a drawing that represents the entire left side of my photo. I had cut in two my photo, I think now!
Jeff, about the mountain, knows you Jean Ferrat? He is a singer who was famous some years ago. He wrote and sang a wonderful song called "The Mountain" (or "La Montagne"). That is this mountain because he lives a bit right on the picture! Behind the trees in the mountains!
Cheers to all, Bernard

Thank you for your visit Scally! I was still out there yesterday, but the sky was gray and we left in the rain! This was not a time to take pictures... Great, all is Ok to Celtic!
Cheers, Bernard
