Good composition!

Thanks Sovran - whenever I see a scene that must have been photographed a thousand times, I always try and find an unusual angle.
In this one I thought the almost prayerful posture of the sculpture fitted well with the facade of the church. The low angle brought the composition together and the wide angle added a bit of drama. Well, that was what I intended, anyway ;D

Please Change on Adam Mickiewicz, he was Polish

Hi Marcin. Thanks for pointing that out. His full name was Adam Bernard Mickiewicz.
I used the Lithuanian spelling because, as I understand it, he was 'adopted' by the Lithuanians as their national poet. And this statue commemorates that.

Nice point of view, good job! It is true, Mickiewicz was adopted by Lithuanians as their national poet and we cant change it. I am Polish and i think we can share Mickiewicz and his poetry with Lithuanians, he was enough good for sharing his writings between Poland and Lithuania. Cheers from Poland, zorinaristos007.

Thanks zorinaristos - glad you liked it. They have a beautiful country with so much potential - it was very generous to share your poet with them :) ...and I look forward to visiting Poland sometime.
Greetings from the UK!
