Well, here i am again.can't keep away today.i found the Wiki entry on your town fascinating.such a depth of history (albeit i also noticed that the local swimming baths have a nudist day in March........a little chilly i thought ;-) Mind you,i did see a brewery mentioned and much more!!

I saw that the crest/coat of arms was that of your town but i could find no history as to how it became to be...ie the reasons behind the emblems.im not much on the heraldic side of things.

either way, great place to live.i googled where i am and was met with little info.im also going to have to have words with the Mayor and tourist info sites to see if we can't improve their photographic imagery a little!!

To be honest, its shots like yours that provoke a little thought and open up a whole new world.

Thanks again for visiting, John. Amersfoort is a nice historic town indeed. I didn't know about the nudist day in March, so thanks for mentioning ;>) Your place on the coast sure deserves tourist attention! Above the surface of the sea as well as below!

Bedankt, Jan.

Thanks for your visit, Tery!

I really appreciate your attempt to write in Dutch, Larry!

it was a poor attempt, really. you'd think my wife would be of more help with the translation, her family is from Friesland. but she won't come near me since i took that photo of her feet.
