This flow exhibits the intermittent drainage after early season rains have fed the basaltic ravine above Buckeye Creek in Sonoma County, California in the Outer North Coast Range. Dominant trees are "Aesculus californica", "Fraxinus latifolia" and "Quercus garryana".
