Hi Retrocool, I had a quick skim through your piccies - well impressed (but didn't see your version). I'll have a longer look later at some of your fantastic looking shots. Greets from the UK.

Rafael (Retrocool), on July 2, 2007, said:

I should of said "had a shot similar to yours", Unfortunatly the shot i took was not as good as yours as I underdeveloped the negative so it was to thin to even print up.

have you now moved fully over to digital?

Rafael (Retrocool), on July 3, 2007, said:

I do digital and film now.

highton-ridley, on July 5, 2007, said:

...and I'm purely digital since I picked up a camera again after a 10yr break

Rafael (Retrocool), on July 5, 2007, said:

i have only had my digital for one year, so i am still getting use to it. I do like the option of instant gratification but I worry mostly about losing my photos.

Technology i still worry about as a couple of my photos that I have posted on here have somehow been deleted or I had mistakenly rezied without saving the original.

All a learning process I guess.

I fairly quickly moved from a compact to a digital slr once I started to realise the potential. I've been dslr'ing for around 18months now - just ahead of you :)

Rafael (Retrocool), on July 7, 2007, said:

very good. I always have used a SLR camera so going to digital slr was pretty easy in that area.

highton-ridley, on July 11, 2007, said:

Yeah.. I was SLR (Zenith B, then E) then put my camera down for 10+ yrs, then started again with a Sony Mavica, then a Sony compact (DSC P100) then my present Canon EOS 350D. What u use now?

I now use a Nikon D200 and might be getting a D80 for a back up. I still use my Canon AE-1 Film along with my Pentax Honeywell (circa 1969) which i love.

Interestingly tagged with "kiss" ;-)

highton-ridley, on July 23, 2007, said:

Yes, yes :) ... the dragon is about to feel the kiss of St George's steel.. but, no, the tag is after the sculptor, Carl Eduard August Kiss :)

magnificent image!!!!!! Greetings. Brenpac.

highton-ridley, on May 23, 2008, said:

So glad you liked it, Brenpac :) It was so difficult to get the framing right on this one - I had to try so many different points of view and angles. Thank goodness I had a zoom lens!

Greetings from the UK!
