Reflecting the beauty of all seasons, this small lake sits inside an undeveloped valley surrounded by 1,800 to 2,200 foot ridges.

I like the reflection in the little lake and the low sunlight. Wonderful colours and a good composition! Well done!

Greetings, Annica

Wow! You have choosen a great place where to live, Vann!

You are a very lucky man, you know? I am happy for you! A curiosity... have you uploaded a shot of your house in PAN?

Ciao Marco. I really love living so far from civilization. Yes, that is my house. I painted it to blend in with the forest. Le Marche is much more beautiful than anything in these mountains, but we take what we have. The seasons here are very distinct. I have traveled to Italia four times, and I can't wait to go back! Ciao Vann,

surely, you are joking me (^^)! This area is very beautiful and you are very lucky to live here. To be honest, I must say that I envy you a bit... for the place where you live, of course, but also for the courage you had had. It is clear that a choice like this brings a radical change of lifestyle. A Change which can be tough in some aspects. but you had the courage to throw your heart over the obstacle ... and the strength to go to recover it and thus, you have realized your dreams, or at least part of them.

Concerning the 'house', I believe I have not explained myself (Sigh! I have a very poor english, sorry), but I meant ask you if you have a picture of your house (The building, I mean). Have you one?

The next time you will come in Italy, you must come in Le Marche (I am joking, of course^^)

Ps. I love my land... but I love USA too! (Especially the Great American Parcks, Which I would like to visit, one day)

Ciao Marco. Your English is better than mine. I intend to learn Italian. I read it like an Italian, but I don't know what I'm reading. It sounds good anyway. I have a "Knack" for languages. My Spanish is good. My German is OK.

The picture in PAN is of my house. Of course, I have many more. Send me your e-mail, and I will send you my favorite ones.

The "National Parks" are wonderful in America. I live near "The Great Smoky Mountains National Park". It's breathtaking. I have never seen the "Grand Canyon", or "Yellowstone". One day I will.

Moving to the mountains after living by the sea for 50 years is the best thing I have ever done. Thank you for your observations. Grazie! VANN

Ciao Vann, reading you above I took a look to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in GE, of course. It is a very beautiful place and I enjoy it a lot. Thank you very much to have suggested it to me. It is brathtaking, I agree with you. I like its shots you your stream a loto too. I also dreaming to see Yellowstone Park one day while I am not able to take any interests (I know: It is odd!) to the Grand Canyon (Probably because I do not know it enough). I prefer the Yosemite Park or the Great Lakes (Michigan)... For your house, do not worry. I meant if the house at Lake Lure you have uploaded in your stream is yours or not. My e-mail address, hwever, is lorenzetti.marco@yahoo.it.

Thank you for the time you are spending for me.

Ciao from Italy and from... Le Marche
