Coincidentally, just the other day I uploaded a daytime picture of the same fountain, and it's a . . . uh . . . I can't tell! It looks less creepy, but I can't tell if it's an angel or a woman with fire shoulders or what. BTW, also coincidentally I work right across the street from that other statue you call creepy, the General Sherman statue. But I didn't take that pic.

Nice shot..what camera are you using?

Joe Gattuso, on July 22, 2008, said:

Thank you. I took this photo in 2004 with a Canon S400, also named "Elph." A couple of months later I broke that camera and replaced it with an S500, the same camera but 5 megapixels instead of 4. Did you know that Panoramio shows camera information for digital photos under Photo Details/Extra Information? It says for one of your photos that you used a "6300," but it doesn't say what brand.

Cheers!

Hello again, glasszone33. Sometimes the best shots are taken with a small camera, like on a mobile phone, and quickly, before the guards see you and tell you "no pictures!" (as almost happened here).
