Hi Billy, thanks for the compliment, the Norwegian tourist board are paying me a small fortune in Kroner, enough to buy the occasional bottle of wine or so every couple of months :)))

Hi Fai, I get a bit homesick for this harbour when I'm back in the UK, and it's not even my homeland :)))

Thanks, Amelia! Yesterday I watched the Ceremonies at Ottawa. The weather was beautiful everywhere, DG, and the oldest veterans were able to stand proudly wearing their medals and hats, with eyes unfocussed as they remember long ago devastation & lost friends & relatives. The young, still finding it hard to believe that they had survived the recent atrocities of Iraq & Afghanistan, all in all it was a very moving service. At the end, the public went to the tomb of the unknown soldier and laid their poppies on top of it.

Dear Maggie, I hope you get a chance to visit Norway, and don't neglect the south west, although the north of the country is even more beautiful. I have yet to visit it :))
Hugs, Amelia

Thank you dear Ria. Most of the "houses" are boathouses. The Norwegians take a great pride in their boats too :))
