L'ancien Tachkent était entouré de canaux qui sont maintenant intégrés dans la ville. Cette partie a été restaurée en 2008 comme tout l'ensemble religieux attenant, mais juste derrière c'est encore la vieille ville ouzbèque de maisons basses qui avaient résisté au tremblement de terre de 1966. amitiés Jean-Louis
