A toilet roll is a type of gymnastic movement, rather technical I'm afraid, and difficult for the majority of the male population, due to difference in basic structure between the pelvic girdles. This tricky manouvre involves 2 half twists and a quick backward flip.
I don't want to bog Theolfa's page up with too much of this serious information, so I'll put a lid on it, and hope that all of you will take this photo in good spirit, and appreciate the delicate beauty of the WHBs, the tiling and the ... er ... em ... not to put it too crudely, the gentlemen's side of the business.
Thank you dear Theolfa for giving us all this opportunity to view the mystery and Victorian grandeur here. You must be flushed with success.
Marvelous response Amelia
Thanks for the space Theolfa dear.
I have a few comments in mind, but they would be a little coarse, so I think I'll PASS !
PS IF YOU DON'T HEAR FROM ME BY THE WEEKEND, YOU KNOW MY BACKFLIP WITH A DOUBLE TWIST AND FORWARD AXLE HAS BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL, PLEASE ARRANGE FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES AND DYNO-ROD TO VISIT ME ASAP (YES, i SAID 'p !
Dyno-Rod's a bit serious Bonnie Lad, a good laxative should do the trick :))
I'm so glad I could make you all smile and stop taking life so seriously ;D Theolfa PS the Ladies is clean but boring.
Who said we were taking things seriously?
I have a bathroom shot for the same reason. Luckily I did not have to go in the men's. I still got some weird looks anyway!
I have so enjoyed the various puns & euphemisms that this loo picture has spawned. Maybe I should try to be less serious ;D
I could not think of a more fitting place than this to join you in a toast..So it's down the hatch dear Theolfa...Now looking at your thumbnail portrait, I can safely say that I cannot take your your _school ma'am image seriously..Anyway, what's a school ma'am doing in the gents??
Thanks, Jim! My husband took the thumbnail portrait last year when he was learning how his digital camera works. That's my sister in the Gents. She asked me if I had ever seen Britain's best Gents and I thought she was joking. She asked the bartender's permission to show it to me and I photographed it from the open doorway. I didn't want to startle any guy who came in to 'use the facilities' PS Your portrait is very good. Cheers! Theolfa
Although it is lovely to see this pop up again Theolfa i am on water pills and bed rest nowadays, so if you don't mind, I'll have to PASS! (too frequently to get a decent rest!!)
Good to see your Sister in the bogs again!
Hi, Mike! Are you taking the pills in hospital or in the comfort of home? My sisters will be staying here for a month and I'll be able to show them some Canadian loos ;D Theolfa
Good Morning Theolfa I am taking the medicine in hospital, my local, North Tyneside General. I am also getting I.V antibiotics and hospital food too!
Hope you and your Sis have lotsa fun, tell her that i like the cut of her Jib!
Best wishes, take good care
Hi, **Mike! I hope you have a swift recovery with the help of the medications, and don't forget that hospital food will be specially prepared for you. I will email your comment to Renee, who is also diabetic. Cheers! Theolfa
Hey, I love the tittle of this pic......!!!!
My first time in UK was Scotland and Scottish people said 4U 2P.
Just seen this for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed reading the banter and mildly amused at the lass in the loo, too!
You get into some funny scrapes Theolfa
I'm glad you saw it, Jethro. [The Philharmonic Pub]http://www.qype.co.uk/place/159838-Philharmonic-Dining-Rooms-Liverpool) is a must to visit when in Liverpool, and Liverpool is a must to visit when in England. Both my sisters amuse me when I'm there. Cheers! Theolfa
I finaly found your comment on my rather poor cousin toilets!
I see that you do visit the Gents from time to time!
Greetings, Tomas from Toronto
Hi TomRos! I thank you for the reminder, and I'm glad you like it. maybe it will inspire you to look for 'posh toilets' ;D
