Thank's your foto Wether report!
Best regards from Hungary.
You are very welcome, K.J. Sopron! Thanks for your visit :O)
wow. powerful, terrific.
Great capture Suzi, incredible waves...
We were out looking at and hearing these breakers for hours, Pom' and Billy! Many thanks! I shot 600+ images and haven't had time to look at very many of them. It was totally awesome! This image is taken of the area where so many sea lions and seals normally congregate. A few can be seen in the image, but most of them must have taken shelter elsewhere :O)
Thanks very much for your kind comment, FM.Italy, and for your welcome visit. Being there was a wonderful experience! Best wishes from Oregon :O)
Bad day to be a sea lion eh, Suzi?
Your storm series is fantastic. With the gray sky and huge breaker, this one really captures the mood and power of this storm. Like you, I could sit and watch this for hours.
Best wishes, Leo
Thanks very much, dear Leo! Bad day for a lazy sea lion! When we were at the entrance to the Bay, it was partly sunny - really quite pleasant, and definitely exhilarating! I filled the flashcard so we had to come home and download the 323 images (about 5 miles distant). Went back to the same spot, and the storm had heightened and no more sun or boats. Drove another 5 or 6 miles to the Reef where this image was taken, filled the card again, so we called it a day - the rain was slanting in our direction. And yes, I'm ordering a larger capacity flashcard :O)
Oh yes those cards never have sufficient capacity...
That why I have to take my laptop on holidays...
Hi, dear Patricia, thanks for having a look around - good idea, the laptop! I think I'll get an 8 gb card - using a 1 gb now. LTM wishing you sweet dreams :O)
