This is in the visitor centre at Ynyslas dunes. Welsh legend has it that Cardigan Bay was once a rich and fertile land, but one stormy night the sea washed over it and all was lost. At lowest tides near here are the stumps of a submerged forest (photo coming soon), which either give creedence to the legend or inspired it.
