Nice shot, Liam, of this cotton field,

it's like snow! Or an ocean! lol

Greetings, Kyle

Cotton .... as far as the eye can see! As **Kyle so appropriately put it above, ". . . like an ocean of cotton!"

The USA is one of the top three exporters of Cotton in the world! It seems like so much of it is manufactured right here in Georgia too!

It's quite a scene when you see it stretched out for miles and miles like this. There's just something almost magical about it!

You've captured it beautifully, with just a hint of pink from the sun's gentle glow.

Very nice!

I must bid you farewell now, but I've thoroughly enjoyed browsing through your gallery this evening.

Goodnight and have a pleasant tomorrow,

Mary Alice

Yes, Kyle I totally agree. Sarah O actually named her photo of Cotton "Southern Snow". It is a very interesting thing to see.

MaryAlice. It's so nice to see you have written another "Paragraph" on my photo! Thank you so much.

Yes, I can definitely see why the US is in the top three! There are miles of farms when going from Statesboro to Augusta!

Indeed, there is something magical. They are such unusual plants. They are bare, with white "Pom-poms" on them. :)

Have a great Sunday!

Yes, so interesting! I think they are sometimes bare due to an exfolient being applied prior to harvest. But I don't know if that is done routinely, or only if the plants refuse to loose their leaves at a time convenient to the farmer. Either way, it makes a striking photo!

Indeed it does, Nawitka!
