Great detail, Erik, my friend! The photo makes me want to pack my suitcase and leave to get a "cultural week" in Italy.

Erik Eshuis, nice details, not compromising the soft texture; beautiful

Thank you Archrodney, May and Zaman, for the kind words! The whole front was set in a golden light of the setting sun at that moment, late in the afternoon. Maybe that caused the soft touch... I was happy to have the tele-option with the TZ7 and could zoom in.

May, why not take a cultural break! I don't know how long ago you've been there. Italy is for you 'next door'...;-) Maybe you have to travel a bit more to the south to see the real treasures, but I assume you've been there more often than me.

Best wishes, Erik

You are right, Erik, I have been uncountable times in different parts of Italy and feel familiar with many places. Several times I went as far as to the "toe" of the "boot" in Calabria, which is 1600km from my place. I think, I have uploaded 2 or three scans. Last time I passed Italy was this autumn, but only from Poschiavo (Bernina) to Santa Maria in the Münstertal (Ofenpass) before I went to the Unterengadin. :) I have been thinking of you! Warm regards, May
