I kwow this place very good! I was in Plymouth two times for a week to fishing! I remember well the pub "Queens Arms" and the "Fishermen´s Club". But it´s a long time ago.

Hey Alfred, greetings from Plymouth :) I've been known to have a pint and a meal in the Queens Arms occasionally.

Were you here when it was called The Piggery by the regulars? The place used to be filled with models of pigs in all shapes and sizes.

btw I hope you caught some good fish when you were here!

Bit disorientating. In simple terms is this the back or water side of Cremyl Street with a view over the top of some of the higher western terraces of Durnford Street taken from the iron bridge over the entrance to the loading basin at the Royal William Yard?

If so where's the Queen's Arms? Surely on this side its the Butchers, the Victualling Office Tavern and the Vine?

Hi lemonranger - to get oriented, look at the location map, zoom in 3 times and then drag the 'flag' to the bottom left hand corner. The buildings in the top right corner at the water's edge are the ones in shot. (The VOT is behind them)

Pity they turned Durnford and Cremyll Streets into a boy racer's one way circuit.

Another one that looks a bit like a Dulux Weathershield catalogue. None the worse for that.
