Strelitzia reginae

Nombre común o vulgar: Flor ave del Paraíso, Estrelitzia, Estrelicia, Flor de pájaro, Pájaros de fuego, Flor de la grúa, Flor de pajarito.

Cada tallo floral sostiene 5-8 flores formadas por grandes sépalos de color amarillo anaranjado y de tres pétalos de color azul intenso.
