This series of eight photographs were shot between 2:30pm and 3:30pm at the height of the storm. Amazingly the sun broke through the clouds for about half an hour which made a great difference. With 70mph gusts it was really difficult to be able to stand still, let alone try to hold the camera steady. In the end I used a concrete fence post to help steady the camera.
