The ship is the MV Icebird out of Hamburg. She is a scissor hull ice cutter and the module on the front of the ship forward of the superstructure is the accommodation module used for expeditioners from the Australian Antarctic Division, Kingston Tasmania.

Thanks, I did mean to type "Icebird" but somehow it came out "iceberg" and Panoramio doesn't seem to make it easy to change photo titles. The accommodation module used to have about 5cm of free movement in its position above the rear cargo bay which made a very eery chunk with every roll in rough seas as the module side from one side to the other.
