Hi Mike!

I was excited to see your response above as it means you are back in business. How's the foot? Are you home now or still in hospital? Good to see you "out and about"!

trikermike on December 4, 2009

Sure thing Kid!!

I had the wee op on Wednesday--3-30 pm, now its friday 10-30 and I am trying to carch up with all my buddies on here!

Foot is fine-big toe gone for good! Maybe a week of two before I can go home, but I am not concerned, just want to heal up first!

Thank you for you kind message, take care!

I have to say I enjoyed Mike's droll answer to Liam more than I did his good news !

Sorry to hear about your appendage, but I know how stoic you are Mike, being a Brit and all, and I am sure you will just say "don't worry, I have another nine" (you do have another nine, right?)

Heal up, go home and then enjoy your Christmas.

Hello Bonnie Lad, how are you doing after the op? I hope you're feeling a lot better and cheery too. We're all wishing you well. Keep us un the loop about when the matron and her nurses get so fed up with that they kick you out ;-)

Ca canny noo, Amelia

jethro you have not been paying attention!

Being an amputee for some years now means that the loss of big toe means I have only 4 left....on the left foot, and no right foot at all!

Stoic is a good word though, thanks man!

Just had a machine fitted that applies constant vacuum to the wound site which aids healing and regeneration of tissues (cost ten thousand pounds, but I think its worth it, personally!!)

|Thanks for your good wishes mate, I am so lucky to have friends like you around !!

Take care

Amelia Sweetie, just scan aboot the recent messages from me to all, you will get the news!

So far I have seventeen nurses that want to take VERY good care of me, but I admit to you here that I am a little worried about taking on more admirers!!

Me wise, I'm ok, foot is better now rhat the blood supply is improved, the new machine I have on me is working a miracle (fingers crossed!)

Well, I am a wee bit scunnerered the noo, so aam awa fer a wee rest!

Take care
