Greetings Marilyn, I can truly appreciate the magnificence of these incredible structures ;>)

I spent a whole day in Swakopmund, browsing round the shops and taking in the magnificent and well preserved architecture of this beautiful colonial township. How sharply this contrasts with the awesome desolation and barren lands that abound here in Namibia!!

I failed to get one decent photo of this country due to a broken camera!!

Hentie's Bay, my base, was not the right place to purchase a camera and too expensive in Swakopmund!! ;>(

Kind regards.

How utterly frustrating, Jim, to be in this fascinating area without a properly working camera! It makes me ache to think of it.

At the time Marilyn, my daily mission took me to the Atlantic coast, fishing, on a catch and release basis, for rather large sharks!!

Photographs-I have a few on film, to upload perhaps at some future date!!

Sounds like an interesting mission, Jim!! I hope to see some photos sometime.
