Skating along Söder Mälarstrand.

WOW, that's reflection... But ice looks melting - that's reason why there was only one hazardous skater?

Cheers, Tom

It is still some ice left, hard under the water. It is seldom you can skate in the inner part of Stockholm, but this was a good (and safe) occasion. (I am a tour leader in long distance skating, and the lonely guy is almost 80 years old). Greetings, Mats.

The reflection is beautiful- could be Venice at first glance...You Swedes are fit, wow! Skating isn't for me, I'm afraid- though I love the sight! Ceers, Gudrun

Thank you for your comments. Skating is my favorite pleasure during winter time, being out in the nature a whole day. Greetings, Mats.

That's quite a reflection indeed Mats, very pretty. I've just finished my tour through your gallery, and must say that I really enjoyed it! You have some wonderful shots from the most exotic places, thanks for sharing. I also added you to my favourite photographers, looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Greetings, Tomas

Thank you Tomas. I am glad and honored that you like my gallery, and to be a favorite photographer.

Now I want a similar photo as above, but from Ijselmeer or some of the channels. I see reports from Ijselmeer and Friesland these days.

During the 80's and beginning o 90's I visited Holland a number of times due to my work, and then sometimes spent weekends in the Dutch landscape. I was also there during the two Elfstedentochts in the 80's, but unfortunately I only saw the start on TV. Perhaps there will be a race this year again.

I wish you a Happy New Year.

Wow! Vilken snygg spegling du fått. Så snyggt! En mycket bra bild Mats! LIKE!/Mvh Annica

Mats.

Thank you Ewa. It is very seldom you have this nice ice conditions in central Stockholm. But Stockholm is also very beautiful in summer, having a lot of water. Greetings, Mats.

Gratuluję wspaniałych zdjęć i wspaniałych pasji podróżnika.

matsljungberg on June 18, 2012

Olika upplevelser. Hälsningar, Mats.
