Very interesting shot of a historical neighborhood. I was born in Philadelphia (because it had the closest hospital to my parents' New Jersey home), but know next to nothing about it.
heavens to betzy, that's my hometown! not living there now but in the new jersey suburbs. cheers and thanks for adding me as a favorite! brian
I am glad so much of which this photo has brought you memories... desire that is very pleasing. It is a very beautiful city.
No!! Thanks to you to share so spectacular gallery, Brian
thanks for the nice compliment on my collection. :D you're welcome to visit anytime.
i lived in the northeast section of the city, not downtown. i've been around much of downtown and am not sure what street this is - there are many quaint, cobblestone streets still existing in philadelphia :)
you've mapped it incorrectly, right at the beginning of south street - a much wider and busier street! :O
i'll probably go into the city this spring for photography and try to find it then.
In fact, this pic was taken in a vacations. I was stay in Philadelphia only one time and maybe I was mapped incorrectly.
When you are came back from your vacations, do you try to mapped for me? it was a plessure.
i'm back now and plan to photo some more of the city on a nice, warm spring day! it is still winter here. cheers, brian
This in the 100 block of Naudain Street - between Front St. and 2nd St. parallel to South Street. It is a historic cobblestone street however most of the houses on the street are not original and were actually built in the late 1970's.
