I used to fly there... based out of Page, Arizona... what a God forsaken place in the winter when there were no tourists.. we would take them over to Monument Valley ... Land at Goulding (where John Ford with John Wayne made a number of Westerns... ) the tourists would then take a 2hr road trip in a small bus thru Monument Valley... we pilots would walk up to the lodge where John Ford 7 his 'crew' would stay .. there we were served wonderful breakfasts... i would buy a number of post cards on my 'working' vacation... dreaming of the airline job i never really got... when i did land an airline job it was a Regional Commuter out of St. George, Utah ... where i finally married & we later moved to San Jose then here to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area here in Texas ... Now i work for non other than Walmart... 2 miles from the house... Our home is under the flight path to a local airport... also 12 miles out from 36 Left, Center & Right ... to a very busy DFW ... planes from all over the World come there... i dash in to pull up FlghtAware.com to see where that particular 747 just came in from .. what fun.. a lot better than flying i would say .. home every night in my bed... i did do 30 months with a rather large trucking firm out of Omaha... based here .. in Arlington, Texas.... then for a small family co. that had 6 trucks... that was during Hurricane Katrina & Wilma.... where i was personally involved with taking relief stuff (water) to Marcus Island just South of Saint Petersburg on the wets coast 7 North of Key West ....!!
ein Wunderwerk der Natur und ein klasse Foto - ein YS+like und die besten Grüße von Reimund
