I took this picture back in 1991 with a cheap Rioch point and shoot film camera I picked up for $5 at a garage sale. I didn't use any filters on the lens or enhance the photo, just got lucky.
I still remember counting 15 shades of blue when taking the picture but unfortunately the camera couldn't capture them all. Nothing beats the real thing.
It does surprise me how well a cheap camera will work sometimes. Before I bought my DSLR I was taking pics with a small Sony digital and caught some great fireworks pics which went against everything I had read about photography (larger aperture = smaller F# which = faster shutter speed.) But the small aperture on the sony worked just fine. Very good work with the Rioch.
