Very interesting take on this one Kamalyn. It looks like bubbles in a blue blue sky.

kamalyn on November 28, 2009

Thanks again Linnol Miura !

Thanks Cal! Maybe the bubbles are swamp gas ;)

Very nice shot...

Nawitka on December 4, 2009

This is pretty cool, Kamaly. I think you are the only one I know who has a photo of a heron as viewed while he is standing on her head. :) Thanks for the speeling help, too!

Hi Andrew Mckie - Thanks very much for the really nice comment! It is funny how problems on the site lead us to discover other pages, isn't it? Glad you found this page. Cheers!

Thanks very much Templ and josefluzak !

And LOL Nawitka! He's gotten so he almost allows people to get that close! He hangs out very close to the main trails, and it seems I get about 500 mb worth of shots of him every time I go to the lake.

Wow, when I saw the thumbnail I thought you'd taken this from low down, with stars in the sky. It's lovely, well done.

Cheers, Lisa

You are a bird sauceror(ess) like that Guy from Masset! Incredible!

kamalyn on December 28, 2009

Yikes - Thanks so much Lisa ! Apologies I missed your comment earlier!

And Thanks again Sue ! But just maybe it's the heron who's the sorcerer, bringing me under his spell, using me to make him world famous :D It's great to have a bird that can be so hard to photograph be so used to people now that he just stands there 10 feet away allowing everyone to photograph him.

This is a great photo!

Thank you for being the next SPC-moderator ;)

kamalyn on January 20, 2010

Thanks for both of those Rita ! Having only entered the spc twice before, it was a little bit of a rocky start, but I think things have evened out. But I was feeling a bit underwater like this guys at first!

someGuyinmasset on January 25, 2010

Hey....I bet this fellow would be right at home on Uranus.

kamalyn on January 26, 2010

LOL, Guy - I guess my first thought is to say 'My - that's a rather personal recommendation!' But the funny thing is that when I first saw your reflected boat shot, I had the same thought - well, rather that the bird must have been next to the boat!

Gabriele Stroppa on November 11, 2010

nice shot! you could call your reflection in the pond, greetings from italy.

kamalyn on November 17, 2010
