Good morning Sir Nick, many thanks for this lovely compliment - and what else could I have called it? The water between the green ribbons is probably as frozen as Pano now ;-)

Hello Jean Claude, thank you. It is quite similar to this one don't you think? ;-)

Greetings to you both, Amelia

Good morning Suzi, I'm so pleased you liked this my dear friend. I'm not sure what the covered crop is, I couldn't get close enough to see it, but it could be strawberries in the background. They grow lots of them around here, and the Norwegians love them!

Hi n1w, thanks for the compliment. When I first saw this I assumed it was winter wheat, but on closer inspection, I think it might be a salad crop, which they will have to protect very soon, if they haven't already done so. The night temperatures have been down to -6C, but it doesn't get that much colder here because of the Gulf Stream :))

Warm greetings to you both, Amelia

Thanks Mary :)) How's Miami doing these days? We're in our thermals now, and before we put trousers and anoraks on, there is a certain resemblance to Max Wall. Very chic ;-)

Cheers form chilly climes, Amelia

Merci encore une fois Roland, je suis très heureux que vous avez aimé la profondeur de cette photo. Ce champ est, en réalité, assez petite :))

Hello Ria, many thanks my friend. It does look very fresh and green, but I think they might have to cover it over soon, as the temperatures are getting low now. I'll have another look in a couple of weeks :))

Warm wishes from Norway to Holland, Amelia

It seems that stones just wait to run a race in the same direction. Creative, Amelia!
