Attenborough Visitor Centre near Chilwell, Nottingham

This pic is on a very slight tilt. My fault for not correcting it before placing it. The cooling towers in the distance are those of Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station on the A453 between Nottingham and East Midlands Airport.

I should have said - I enjoyed your pages. I´ve also got pics of this area, also from the 1970s - we moved to the Rylands after they cleared us out of Radford. I´ll see whether they deserve to be uploaded or not. Best wishes, P

Hi Prufrock, Regarding your pics: there's no harm in trying. You can always delete them if you get no response. Besides, Panoramio may be interested to see them on the map. It´s not really the response, it´s that I´d like the whole Prufrock thing to have a focus, and I´m not sure if I´d lose it. But you´re right, I can always take them down again.
