Thanks, Theolfa! This was the first bit of color I saw here this fall as I was taking my Mom for a drive. So of course I had to back up and take some photos. I loved the driftwood also & that is why I posted this shot. Another one featured the color and yet another the reflections but this one had all three!

There is actually a shot from this same place in winter What a difference. It does not look so welcoming as this one:)

Thanks, Elana! I am sure at times there are ducks here but I have not seen any. This is actually a small stream that runs out of the big lake and eventually into the Apple river below our house.
