LOL, Tery, I won't comment directly on that...;) But your comment is funny to me because I think it's a bland, real missed opportunity shot, and it's always really bugged me that it has a pretty high view count (for a while it was my highest.) I see this view all the time (it's across from my old office) and the half-shadow on the building really bothers me - though it's pretty tricky timing to get the whole building in sunlight. If you click on the 'Rowes Wharf' tag here and on a certain other page, you'll see other views of the building.
But LOL, this view actually highlights something that grates on my nerves every time I look at the arch: the stupid placement of those street lights!!!! Soooooo much time and money was spent re-designing this area, intentionally focusing views on the arch..... and they went and stuck those tall lampposts right there ruining the frame, instead of just 10 feet to the south.....or even installing a double set of lights on either side of the arch...
You have these amazing shots without comment and so many pano and GE views.
There hopefully it's okay to re enter the comment without the typo. So many times I hit the "i" when I want the "o". Usually I catch it. Hopefully I haven't missed others :)
Interesting about the lights. I like the shadows - it gives it depth.
People will think my alter-ego can foretell the future, but thanks :) LOL, that is a VERY easy and frequent typo here on Pan. The funniest instance I've seen of it was on this photo and so I couldn't tell if it was a typo or intentional, lol!
I note pamlima also corrected her typo.
Sometimes leaving it almost works
Jeff not big on acknowledging comments, I also note.
