Superbly shot as Art Deco should be.
Thank you, and greetings from Canada.
Interesting modern building and very good photo about it.
Nice framing and good shot.
Thank you, GyurIca and Achiper. I liked the building, and the sun happened to be at a very good angle! Greetings, Marilyn
Hi Marilyn I've stopped for a like and Fav :-) nik
HEY!!!! I like this photo. My grandfather was the chief engineer on site during the construction of this building. It was his last job before being hit by the great depression. There was no more work for him in the USA so he had to sell apples from a cart.
Very late thanks, nik, for the honors!
And r.w., thank you for all your visit and especially thanks for sharing the story. So many people suffered during those hard times! But isn't the building glorious!!
I will share it with my dad. He has several photos of the building. I'm sure he will enjoy this one.
Well done like it
and sad, but interesting story from RWD!
I bet that history is repeating it self in these days!
Tomas from Etobicoke

Hi Marilyn it is nice to enjoy your Art Deco shots in the Group and this is a fabulous example.
It was sad to read of R.W's Granddad and I wonder if we are hurtling towards another depression right now ~ I hope not!
A glorious building and a foto from a professional Photograf. I like all your pictures, so well composed. Greetings.
Very nice photo. Like,
Some very late thanks to Tomas, wallymc, Nick, Murkl, and Nenad, and thanks now to johnnywithoutcash, too. The building is a beautiful example of art deco architecture, and I'm glad you enjoyed this photo.
Greetings from Canada, Marilyn
Love it! I'm a little young for the train days, but I remember as a kid shopping there when it was a mall. Then the property owner at the time came close to tearing it down before it became the museum. I got to tour the restoration project too. There are too many fascinating things to count inside. This would have been the crime of the century if it was leveled. Thank you for sharing such an iconic piece of architecture and Cincinnati history.
Hi Marilyn! An excellent photo presenting an art deco design! Many friendly greetings! Anton Trötscher
Really Great shot!-Beautiful photo! Like ...(^_^)
Thanks, uclynch, for sharing the memories and bit of history. It would have been a terrible loss if this had been torn down!
Thanks, too, Anton and ELMUNT for your visits and comments.
