En Concepción, VIII Región en la desembocadura del río Bío-Bío hay una playa de arena negra de 300 metros de extensión la cual da al Océano Pacífico y es ideal para pescar, hacer picnic, tomar fotos o practicar deportes como el kitesurf, Windsurf o biking.
