What a wonderful shot. It's simple and uncluttered, yet makes the point. The beauty of Fall lingers still, even as we are already decorating for the arrival of Christmas. Usually by the time Christmas actually gets here, the trees have finally lost all of their leaves and winter's bare limbs shiver in the cold. Until then, we have the beauty of both.
I like this one a lot. You have an excellent eye.
Georgia is certainly proud to have you visit.
Rain, when it came, fall had come after the last steps of summer and when getting back, it was me that had gone towards the freshness of rain. One by one, I was full of its freshness and thankful of God for another fresh. My ever lasting real stepped in world of my life and I also rained like the drops of rain in her life. Even though rain is other, but I try to learn its freshness and I become another rain myself. Another blue.
Interesting framing, Marilyn, with the shadow of the lamp. Nice shot. Daniela
Nice catch Marilyn.
Yep, typical Georgia sights
Mary Alice, I'm so glad you "got" why I took this. I loved the juxtaposition of the autumn leaves and the Christmas decoration - against such a colorful background!
sababoy, thank you for the beautiful words.
Thanks, Daniela. If I could have, I'd have moved the lamp (with its shadow) a little closer to the tree ;) but we have to work with what we've got!
And thanks, Margot and Ospr3y, for your comments.
