Thank you Jeff

This is an old photograph, but I thought it was worth pulling out and putting up!

Can’t stand it myself, best wishes Ebeneza

David Brown Photogra… on December 13, 2009

I'm with you on that one Peter

All that's in it for me is time off and plenty of hiking and drinking!

Let the fun begin!

pedrocut on December 13, 2009

Hi Jethro

Ah me old china I bet you won't be drinking real ale like Theakstons or John Smiths!

Regards Peter

I shall prove you wrong dear sir! I have awaiting for me on the summit of my Appalachian Mountain Retreat (read derelict shabby cabin) a pair of bottles that were last open to the world in Tadcaster. They were nearly victim to a recent Geordie invasion, but I appeared for there rescue just in time.

I do not think they will survive Christmas however.

Where you been?

I asked around but you never been seen.

This sort of thing has really taken off in the UK now, probably through people watching US comedy shows and films. The government's energy awareness campaign has us turning off TVs and stereos instead of leaving them on standby and then this happens at Chrimbo!

Well captured

Heh. Ain't you enjoying the fakiviti... err... festivities, Jethro? :P

joyfotos on December 22, 2009

Hi Jethro!

See you have some wonderful new photos up. I will try to get round to have a look at them but a bit overwhelmed at the moment.

Jean has not been on much of late as she has been helping with her Mom who has been in and out of hospital of late. She is on a bit here and there now.

Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on December 23, 2009

As Christmas draws even nearer Jethro, I'll take this opportunity to wish you all the very best ;>)

Kind regards

David Brown Photogra… on December 23, 2009

Thank Jim I'm glad you stuck with it.

Have a great Christmas and stay warm.

See ya in the New Year.

Hello Jethrohoyt. I love that time with a little bit more silence. Happy new 2010 and warmest regards. Harry.

David Brown Photogra… on January 4, 2010

Many thanks Harry

Hope your Xmas was as lighthearted as this glorious shot! :) Best greetings to you in 2010. And right after Christmas, another tradition: The Canadian boys is gonna whup you in the Junior Hockey! :)

David Brown Photogra… on January 8, 2010

Not me, Stoneboat ol' chum, I know nowt about hockey and as someone of scarcely fixed abode I can claim no loyalty to nob'dy. My Chistmas was lighthearted and often lightheaded, but bloody cold (but not by your standards). Many thanks for dropping in.

Keith I am sorry to hear that it has taken off. It drives me bonkers hereabouts. I hope your Christmas and especially New Year were well lit.

Whoelius sorry for my late response but I am only just typing again having recovered from my Western North Carolina feshtitities. Must drink more water with it next time.

Thanks for the update Joy conditions were and still are quite harsh over there (for us southern softies).

whoelius on January 8, 2010

Heh. Great stuff, Jethro.

And I'm delighted to see someone else kick patriotism into touch; 'tis nothing more than what the vicious sell as a virtue.
