Yes, people really do live on these. They have proper postal addreses just like normal houses on the street, and they have to pay some kind of taxes too! Obviously some are better than others!!!!

Yes, this would be an excellent ‘blank canvas’ for you! Go to your nearest garden centre, buy a new shed, some fence panels, and a bit of new guttering, then it would be easy!! On the other hand, just think of those poor woodlice, spiders, rats and mice that you would be making homeless by renovating it.

Many years ago a guy I used to work with tried renovating a boat. It then leaked so much water that it had to be broken up!

But make a nice job of it, and you could be sailing it over Pontcysyllte viaduct, complete with baskets of painted flowers, and a nice box of cheese, home made bread, and wine for a picnic!

Très belle photo qui fait rêver. Il faut certainement être un peu poète pour habiter sur une péniche.

Comme dit Isabelle elle aurait juste un peu besoin d'un petit coup de peinture et de quelques aménagements...

Intéressant pensée! Peut-être quelqu'un qui a très peu d'argent parce qu'ils ne travaillent que très peu? Rénover ce serait un beau projet pour quelqu'un avec de l'argent, et beaucoup de temps à perdre!
