These plants must be growing in volcanic rocks and dust, Bob. I don't know what they are, but the largest specimen maybe some kind of Hawksbit or Hieracium aurantiacum (Fox and cubs). There is also some Sedum (stonecrop) here, and a seedling of what could be either Icelandic poppy.

Nature sure is wonderful, and I'm pleased that this photo has been selected for GE. There can't be too many people who have visited here :)))
