This home is so simple compared to the Palace. It makes me sad for her because it looks like she wasn't comfortable with the big Palace and it seems as if she was looking for a simpler life.
This was not her home , it was in fashion at the time to have a little village, farm, with peasants at the petit trianon domain (Versailles)The " Go back to nature" feeling .Verry trendy at the time.
