I think this would have me fooled. It looks like a pathway, so I'd go to climb through it, below the upside-down V, and then bang my noggin on the stone before stepping back dazed and confused and then blaming... err... Norrel. Or D.R.Lamont.

whoelius, Thank you. The hole was so dark that I couldn't see what was inside. Swiftly I snapped the photo and quickly I withdrew my hand because I was afraid there might be a snake who might strike. I didn't lean down to have a look. It was a quick point and shoot moment if there has ever been one.

No, whoelius, you wouldn't have been able to climb in, maybe just get your head and neck inside. I know someone has been in there because the cobwebs were swept aside. At first I thought perhaps raccoons but now I'm wondering if it might have been you!

That hole IS shaped like a V and the hidey hole rock is a triangle too. There's a small triangular rock that is a real chip off the old block and it's missing. I suppose Norrel or DRLamont could have it.
