Plastic pollution on a Midway beach

I like this. I see a lot of toothbrushes on the beach, I wonder why. I can understand plastic bottles but a toothbrush doesn't seem like something that would be littered much.

Very very powerful, as is the other one with the bottle cap.. The island obviously lies in the path of the great Pacific Garbage Patch.
