This house is one of the last remaining traditional Earth Friendly homes still standing in Yanta, Lebanon. These homes are over 100Yrs old. Inherited from generation to generation, build with the sweat and blood of hard working men and woman. These traditional Lebanese homes are very energy efficient, tough built able to withstand the harsh winters of the Lebanese Mountain Climate. Made from Hand Carved Stone, Cob, Poplar Wood Struts and Lime Paint. These houses represent one of the most Earth/Health Friendly homes ever built with very minimal annual maintenance. The sad part is modernization does not value or respect this remarkable trial and error engineering, that has proven its value over hundreds of years.
