greetings from my other gallery:)

My flashlight was probably the first light ever to reach the bottom of this location. So yes, a little light was brought, but I could not get him to smile :-). Enjoying your other gallery.

Neat pic Derek, reminds me of a joke:

A horse walks into a bar. The bartender asks "Why the long face?"

Derek Holzapfel on October 27, 2010

yuk yuk yuk

A goldfish walks into a bar and looks at the bartender. The bartender asks, "What can I get you?" The goldfish says, "Water."

Hi Derek,

this is one more proof of the added value of underwater photos for GE! It's really about sharing experiences of something not everybody can repeat. I believe it will also be of great value in making people appreciate the urgent need for protection of our oceans.

Excellent picture and I love the expression on his face.

Best regards, Timo

Thanks Timo; I sure hope that you are correct. We will have to see how often these photos are viewed. This particular dive was a real adventure as a huge ferry ended up going over us. Pretty loud and disconcerting. Fun, fun, fun :-); Derek

Wow, this is such a great clear shot, if you hadn't mentioned that it was at 30m depth, I wouldn't have known it was an underwater shot. It is wonderful. I like it. Greetings, Cathy

Derek Holzapfel on December 12, 2010

Hi Cathy; It is too bad one has to get pretty deep for really clear water in this area. This dive was "too" exciting in the middle of Active Pass. At least I was with another diver this time, and he had his hands full with video equipment. all the best, Derek
