The map position pointer is where I took the picture from, not where the actual Corner House is, which is barely 25 metres from the map position. If you scan close enough, you can see the Corner House on the map.

Hi Mark, Yes, I was challenged in the Vic Centre many years ago by some officious security bloke. I had my camera (a Canon Ae1) on a tripod, and he immediately thought I was a professional (Gordon Bennett, I ask you!!) and told me I would need a permit. We went to the centre office where I went through the rigmarole of an application for a permit (at no cost) only to tear it up under his nose.

I had a similar experience at Worcester Cathedral. 'Nuff said?
