Thanks for the visits and wonderful comments. This is such a nice rock formation and easy to get to. You really feel your are in the high mountain peaks. Cheers, Rich
Hi Rich, I'm planning a holiday and I've got to say your photos has inspired me to go to see the Dragon Trail,RMNP and Estes! I hope there wil be snow like in your photos but I think I have little chance of that in late September. Anticipating lots of Autumn ('Fall') yellow leaves. Also heading off to Durango.
Oh, by the way, what sort of camera and lenses do you use? Thinking about what I should bring...
catch you later.
Greetings Singing Geo, Thanks for the visit. I currently use a Canon 50 D. I have a couple of wide angle zooms. This photo ended up as a 59mm focal length. You will have very little snow on the Dragon Tail this fall, but you will enjoy the Elk rut in Moraine Park. Be sure and drive over Trail Ridge Road, stopping at the Rock Cut overlook. A very nice place to take pictures. Cheers, Rich
Brilliant! thanks Rich
