Hi everybody, well it was just an typing error ;D I have already fished piranhas at the rio Tiete, in Pereira Barreto, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and they are very delicious fish. Very dangerous though. I used to fish it using a piece of any kind of meet, they love it. In some regions of Brazil, such as Mato Grosso, to cross animals over some rivers in which piranhas are present, farmers crucify the weakest animal of the flock, in that way, the rest of the covey would not be attacked. So, when u go fishing be very careful taking it out, because they do bite you and can cause injury to your fingers. That it s not a fisherman story, I am a woman, lol...
Have read all comments, I finally know what is in the photo. Some guys in my country start to feed them as a pet, they even don't realize that may cause a ecological disaster.
