This is ABSOLUTELY NOT Jumpinpin Bar. This is the SEAWAY, a deep water entrance into the Southport harbour and anchorage area to the south of the entrance and to the Broadwater to the north. PLEASE Please move this inaccurate and misleading position to the correct coordinates given by RoscoGC.

Maybe we are talking about a different Jumping Pin or Jumpinpin Bar. The one in the photo is what I call Jumping Pin (I will check if the spelling is correct when I am back in the country) and it is situated between the North and South Stradbrouke islands. I took the photo myself and go there very often.
By the way this is the first time I see the comments and therefore I understand why "Eduardo" could not do anything about it....
Dear Roscoe,Macca and Chris Woulfe, give yourselves a couple of uppercuts and knock yourselves out, the only thing wrong with this photo are the co-ordinates, which I believe to be an honest error. Having fished the Pin for nearly 50 years, the area as I see it is the Pin Bar. Steiglitz IS about 7 clicks away and the Broadwater, a helluva lot further than that.
You fellahs would be better off venting your spleen against the Bligh Governments E.P.A., who, through underhanded legislation and backyard politics by "minority groups" will, come hell or high water, absolve you and yours, their democratic right to fish these waters. Get yourselves a copy of the Moreton Bay Marine Park Plan, dated December 2007, they are free, the wheels are in motion. I've caught my fish and potted my crabs and I've had to move on, but you and your kids and grandkids will be banned from enjoying these waters.

The saga continues. Now I have changed the location and it is exactly where I took the photo. I also changed the spelling. Thanks for letting me know the correct one. I went back there the other day and found a sign on one of the buoys saying that I should not be there in first place. It is a protected area. No more photos to get people all upset.
Still amazes me how people can be so exited about a photo and its location...
Just as well the Marine Parks & wildlife boys weren't around. You seem to be anchored up in Swan Bay a protected spawning area. This is a beautiful part of Moreton bay and a hell of a swim from the Southport Seaway. Hope those guys invest in a GPS soon. HAHAHAHAHA
