Hello "brian01"

No problem at all :) Thank you very much for your reply! By the way: Are you scottish or english? I like your photos very much! I´ve also been at "Applecross", which is an amazing place on this planet. Have you ever been in "Ullapool"? I promise that I´ve got the world´s best pancakes there :) I miss "Glenfinnan" a little bit - it´s a wonderful place too (a big photo of the monument is placed in my livingroom). And I also miss the special breakfast up there in Scotland (especially the fantastic "HP-Sauce"). Have a nice day!

Bye

Thorsten

Good to hear from you again and your interesting comment, Thorsten. It is a long story but, yes...I am English for 48 weeks of the year and Scottish for the rest! I am really pleased you like Applecross. It is fast becoming my favourite place in Scotland (or anywhere!). Yes, I know Ullapool quite well; stayed there in a cottage on edge of Loch Broom some 25 years ago. It is much busier now but still quite attractive. Scottish breakfasts are good I agree - and Fish & Chips from Ullapool is the best I have ever had (with or without HP)!

Regards, Brian.

Nice Brian. Hard to take a good shot like this. I have a few pending that I will have to get back to, but I like yours.

Thanks, Martin. Glad you like, so this photo has another stay of execution. I've had misgivings about it but it's somehow survived my periodic purges!

Regards, Brian.

Your very kind comments much appreciated, Marion. A pair of Ospreys have been nesting here for many years. Every year, about May, their return is eagerly awaited. The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) runs the site. If ever you visit Scotland, this would be a grand place to start.

Best wishes, Brian.
