A different photo from your night journey in the city.... no less fantastic than the others!!! The reflection of lights in the clouds give a dramatic extra Ian, congratulations!!!

I imagine you already have that ticket to Buenos Aires in your pocket :))!!! Would be great to have your presence in these lands ;)!!! Although Patagonia is quite far, even in Buenos Aires, would be a pleasure to share with you a good chivito patagonico al asador :)) !!!

Friendly greetings, Toto

Taking a night walk along the river bank in Brisbane is full of photographic opportunities, but the full moon helped to make this a bit special. Thanks for your appreciation of it, Toto!

For the time being that ticket will have to remain an e-ticket!! A virtual ticket to a virtual BA, that will allow me to virtually visit Patagonia!! Your remarkable photos of a stunning wilderness of lakes and alpine peaks, adorned by dramatic clouds and weather will have to do in the meantime. Maybe one day it will be a reality and then we can share a good chivito patagonico alasador!!

Thank you Juan, for your very favourable comments.

I too have added your gallery to my favourites for the same reasons. And thanks for the YS for this image. I am very pleased with it, but it can only be reproduced under a full moon. I have been back with the camera on a New Moon night and it is very different then.

Greetings from Brisbane.

Though most of your images are from within the 30km radius, Jim you produce amazing images, beautifully as well. It is a privilege to share with you from our different patterns of experience as well as our different geographic settings.

This image is a view from the river cliffs only a few kms from our Brisbane home and a vantage point most Brisbane folk know well. but that night it was particularly special because of the full moon, the lights for the New Year celebration and perhaps even the left over smoke from the fireworks display a short time before. The rest was the work of the camera.

We are currently working/holidaying in NZ and return home next week with many more images of these beautiful and majestic islands to share.

Thanks again for your faithful communication and affirmation.

Sincerely,

Ian
