Love this place, we stayed a couple of days, so much to see from there. Great colours in this one Paul the rocks, sand, sea, mountains and sky, all a wonderful lot of colours.

Thanks very much Dianne!

I would have preferred a nice sunset shot of this but all sunsets were dismal and cloudy, same with the sunrises. Next time I'd like to explore the Bay of fires more, just didn't work too well in the itinerary this time. The place can get you hooked can't it :-)

Prachtig Paul erg mooie kleuren die rotsen. Greetings Berend (Happy New Year)

Paul Strasser on January 2, 2010

Bedankt Berend!

Groeten Berend

Hi El pare de la Clara. The colour is caused by an orange lichen that grows on these rocks all along this coast.

Thank you for the compliment, Paul

Paul Strasser on January 9, 2010

Ossi

Paul Strasser on February 27, 2010

Herzlichen Dank Ossi!

This looks nice Paul. Reminds me of the southcoast of Western Australia.Nice colours of these granite rocks.Good capture.Y*

Paul Strasser on March 25, 2010

Hi David. I agree with you, I've been to that area of WA and there are a lot of similarities. The weather is just a bit cooler down in Tassie.

Thanks very much for the Y*, that's quite an honour!

Greetings, Paul
