Thank you very much indeed Michael! That's quite an honour!

I have put your gift to immediate use. I looked every where for it here but could not find one. Not even in Tasmania, where you think there would be plenty because the French came here before the English.

Kind regards, Paul

Hi Jörg,

Thank you! We have been hearing all about your winter since Christmas and we see daily coverages of it on TV. I think they do that to remind us that despite our heat waves, we could be a lot worse off :-)

Bedankt voor het openen van de ogen Fried. Zo zie je, volwassen en nog steeds onbewust.

Ik kom er beslist nooit meer.

I like this composition ... Y*

The "trompe l'oeil" is cool and I like the geometry in the bottom of the picture with the metallic structure and the play of light...

That's the ultimate compliment of course. I'm really pleased about that and so glad that you have shown your appreciation in this way. Fantastic!

Very good Photograph Paul, did you use any tools to straighten the composition? A Y* anyway. Greetings from the Netherlands, Sipco Feenstra

Hi Sipco,

I really appreciate you commenting and complimenting! Thanks very much!

I'm not much into post editing my shots but in this case I used photoshop to straighten the vertical lines of the image and to severely crop it. The distortion was a lens deficiency in this instance, more often the fault is mine for not holding the camera straight :-)

Greetings from Australia, Paul

You know Paul, i have this little camera that beeps when it is level but even then Shape always rules. So somtimes i just squeeze my eyes when i make a composition. Thanks for your answer. Greetings from Leeuwarden / Niederlande, Sipco/
